Saturday 14th March - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods.

My last chance for a few days to take some weather pics as we are off to the Alps so I headed out at 5.45 to catch the sunrise. I had a drive around the pier but things did not promising so I headed down to Felixstowe Ferry and parked near the Martello tower and there was a light early icy frost! I sat on the beach by the River Deben and watched the sun come up, it was lovely, so quiet even if a tad on the chilly side ! After sorting out my pics we got up early to clean and pack the van for an adventure, I had just cleaned the outside of the van when Mag said our back tyre looked flat so I quickly took it round to Hadliegh tyres who rung at 11.15 to say we needed a new tyre and they didn’t have one and were closing at midday, we picked up the van and drove round Felixstowe and were very lucky to get it dome at Trinity tyres just before they closed! We then completed sorting the van out before going on a quick walk down to see the sea, a bit of a hectic day!
